Investment Banking Internships - Interviewing Time Again

Investment banking summer internship interviews are in full swing. Now is the time to finalize your interview schedule and get out to Wall Street. Hopefully you have been networking for months now and have all your interviews lined up.

For a quick interview refresher take a look at the blog post 'First Things First: The BIG 5'. Remember to have your story prepared, not memorized, know why you want to do banking, why you want to work at each bank, different types of valuation, and how to walk through a DCF.

Good luck and make it happen this year!

Good luck with the interviews! I know it's late in the game, but I came across a great investment banking interview practice simulation that has some great questions.

Good luck with the interviews, and good luck especially if you're hired!

Getting an investment banking internship is one of the best ways to break into this exciting industry. Due to business lead growth, we are looking forward to hiring an internship to join the Investment banking division, which specialists in providing a comprehensive range of financial and advisory services. Thanks a lot...

What the interviewer seeks for is a person who is flexible to be along with the given timings, someone who can cope up with writing bits and bobs or a person who can benefit them with more development.

Hmm. Although this was posted several months ago, when I ended up reading this - I was then second-guessing if I were to advice my cousin to have this kind of investments banking internships. It was before, she actually took some securities and finance training series 6 courses and the other courses as well and certification and wanted to join this kind of industry. Now she's asking me If she would try again this time. What do you think guys?

Interships are among the best ways actually to improve one's skill in investments banking or at least give more ideas that the individual can use in the future for his/her advantage. Like having a series 65 Texas course or guide.

Many Investment Banking firms offer professionals whose perspective on any engagement is limited to their background and experience primarily as bankers - a financial perspective singularly focused on a specific transaction.

What’s interesting is that you can search by jobs, company and reviews, salaries and interviews. For example, if you are going to interview at Morgan Stanley, then go look up Morgan Stanley and you can view salary by position and location, and the interview notes from other candidates. It’s a good source of reference as all information is input by actual employees and employers. I’m sure you’d love surfing this website.
